Hoke specializes in providing companies of all sizes and industries with a full suite of insurance products. Additionally, Hoke prides himself on being an asset to each of his clients and providing the best customer experience possible. When he’s not forming strategic partnerships with businesses of all sizes, Hoke enjoys spending time with family and friends at the lake or on the golf course.

Nathan grew up in Sheffield, AL, before finishing his high school years in Trussville, AL. He majored in health care management at The University of Alabama and completed his master’s in health administration and business administration at UAB. His invaluable leadership experience in a variety of settings—management consulting, hospital and clinic operations, and employee benefits consulting—has developed a unique skill set that drives strategic insight for Gilmer Advisors. Moving to Gilmer from a national brokerage firm, Nathan is well suited to blend large-scale thought leadership with personalized boutique service. Nathan focuses on innovative employee benefit products and strategies that manage costs and drive employee engagement—including plan design optimization, secondary/gap coverage, ancillary benefits, executive/deferred compensation, pharmacy benefit management, and stop loss placement. Nathan is active with Homewood youth sports, attends Mountain Brook Community Church, and enjoys outdoor activities with his wife, Erin, and their four children.

During his time there, Hoke gained experience in all facets of the insurance business, specializing in commercial property & casualty, group benefits, life insurance, and financial services. Now, as the leader of Gilmer Advisors, LLC, Hoke puts his passions to work by matching Alabama companies with the insurance products and services they need to succeed in the Southeast and beyond.
